The Target Range Sewer & Water District is a regional district chartered by the state of Montana. Originally organized in 2000 to protect the water quality of the Missoula Aquifer in the Target Range area, the District was expanded last year by a request of the residents that lived outside the existing district boundaries who felt they would be better served if they were included in the district. The Target Range Sewer & Water District does not currently intend to install sewer and water lines west of Reserve street, their approach is through conservation and smarter use of the existing septic and well infrastructure that currently exists in the area.
